Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar or extra honey for added gooeyness
Instructions:
- In a microwave-safe mug, mix:
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (if using)
- Add dry ingredients:
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar for extra gooey texture
- Stir well until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Microwave on high for 45–60 seconds
(Microwaves vary – start with 45 seconds, then add 5-10 seconds if needed. The center should be slightly gooey.) - Let sit for 1 minute to cool slightly.
Drizzle with extra honey or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
Tips:
- For extra richness, add a teaspoon of cream cheese or peanut butter in the center before microwaving.
- Use spelt or oat flour for a wholesome twist.
