Ingredients:
- 1½ cups frozen mango chunks (about 225g)
- ¾ tsp ground cayenne pepper (adjust to taste: ½ tsp = medium; 1 tsp = hot)
- 1½ tbsp lime juice (or lemon juice)
- 1½ tsp brown sugar (or honey/maple syrup — optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 2–3 tbsp water (adjust for desired thickness)
- Optional for extra depth:
- ½ tsp fresh grated ginger (or ¼ tsp ground ginger)
- ¼ tsp ground allspice
Instructions:
- Let frozen mango sit out for 10–15 minutes to soften slightly (or microwave for ~1 minute).
- Blend mango, cayenne, lime juice, sugar, salt, and any optional spices.
- Add water 1 tbsp at a time while blending until it reaches smooth drizzle consistency.
- Taste and adjust:
- More lime for acidity
- More sugar to balance spice
- More cayenne if you like it fiery
